Gandhinagar, Sunday: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel addressed on the occasion of celebration of International Women’s Day at Gandhinagar. He said that State Government is committed for the respect and dignity of women in Gujarat. International Women’s Day is not just a one day, but throughout the year, we are committed to honor women and women power.
Our Prime Minister calls women as Shaktiswarupa, we have always been honoring their power and their works, said CM.
CM called on to honor the contribution of women’s in daily life with the manta of ““Har Haat Ko Kam, Har Kam Ka Samman”. The Chief Minister made a special mention of the outstanding achievements made by the women pastoralists of Banaskantha in the field of milk production. The state government has implemented multiple schemes for the welfare of women under the direction of the Prime Minister. Not only this, 6064 crore rupees have been allocated in this year’s budget for women’s welfare. Which is 23% more than last year’s budget.
